Lemma is a collection of exegetical studies and theological research, each built on the SCAR Quadrilateral framework.

The SCAR Quadrilateral

Every study in this library examines its topic through four lenses:

1. Scripture (highest authority) --- Comprehensive analysis of all relevant biblical passages, with attention to the original Hebrew and Greek
2. Christocentrism --- What did Jesus teach and demonstrate? His words, actions, and priorities
3. Antiquity (pre-325 AD) --- How did the earliest Christians understand and practice this? Patristic writings, rabbinic sources, and early church documents
4. Reality --- What does lived experience tell us? How do believers across traditions actually encounter this today?

How to Read

Each study follows a consistent pattern:

• Chapter 0 / Executive Summary is the complete, accessible overview --- read it first
• Chapters 1—5+ provide encyclopedic depth for those who want to go deeper
• Appendices contain word studies, source collections, and cross-references

Every major theological position is presented with its strongest arguments, as its best advocates would present it. The reader weighs the evidence.
